Saudi Arabia is the birthplace of the Arab race and of Arabic. It's also home to two of Islam's holiest cities - Mecca and Medina. Saudi Arabia is also a modern, thriving, oil-rich state. Because of the long distances between the main cities in Saudi Arabia air travel is often the most convenient and practical way to travel within the Kingdom. The national airline, Saudia, operates a comprehensive network of domestic flights as well as International flights.From Riyadh to Jeddah takes just over an hour; from Riyadh to Dhahran on the east coast is a flight of just under an hour.

At the Sahara Airport Hotel Business services are available, including meeting rooms for up to 250 people. Two large three-level car parks are located directly in front of the passenger terminals.
